OJC Ltd. was established in 1882. Experience of four generations had led to the changes regarding our activity. After the II WW due to the economic reasons the first nurseries of fruit trees were created. They gave rise to the apple orchards. Since 1977 they have been developing dynamically. During that time we started to organize apprenticeship for the students from the schools of gardening and for the Polish and foreign students from the higher agricultural universities. In 1992 the association called The Centre of Integrated Fruit Production was established which is now a part of our company. During the 90., simultaneously with the socio-political changes in our country the small companies of the food industry started to develop. New relations with the foundations like: Caresbac Polska S.A., FDPA, BCD, EEAF, TISE S.A. and GNP made it possible to create a partnership. As a result of these actions, in 1994, with the help of initial capital from the USA the fruit processing company – OJC Ltd. in Wisowa was established. The decision concerning the start of food processing activity was closely connected with the tradition of the constant searching of new production profiles.

At the very beginning the company was equipped with the American apple presses (approx. 100t of apples per day). In 1997 the more effective German press (200t of apples per day) was bought. During that time the production halls were widened what was the first step of further extension. What is more, the capacity of the warehouses for concentrates was expanded from 1000 to 3000 tones. Since 2002 the new, effective ultrafiltration and filtration (of apple concentrate) machines have been installed what resulted in the elimination of harmful ACB germs (alicyclobacillus). In 2005 two new apple presses were installed (each of them has the capacity of 5t per hour) and the modern equipment was introduced in a newly-build production hall. After the activation of this machinery the company will be able to process approximately 500t of apples per day.

Due to the introduction of new technologies our concentrates are ecological what has been confirmed by the appropriate organization. The ecological concentrates have already gained the popularity and they are successfully sold on the world markets.
